Pepper seems to be tired of being blamed for every meal you eat and taste. Pepper addresses this in a recent message sent to the category Thinking Food 24/7.
Dear My Cookery Zone,
They say wonders will never end and I have had it up to the brim is why I am writing to you. How on earth am I being blamed for everything? Why is pepper always the cause of everything?
I have continued to be talked about in a way I don’t like and I want to address them in this message. First, I am pepper. I am a spice that gives savouriness to your meals I go way back and can’t be like anyone else even though that yellow root spice tries so hard to be like me the spice I give can’t be compared.
Secondly, why do people add me in things I am not required to be added in. It is alarming that people see the need to add me in smoothies and whatnot. Yet you allow people who don’t like me to hurl insults at me for being present.
Thirdly, I am a spice you know this, I am meant to be used moderately yet you add me in excess and still blame me for being too much who does that? You made the error own up to the mistake you made when adding me to your meals. Don’t push the blame to take full responsibility for your actions when you use me.
Finally, It is important I say that before eating a meal that you think I am in, put into consideration who made it, the region they are from, and what ethnic group or race they belong to. All these will guide you from having those terrible stories I have heard so next time put all these into consideration and stop blaming me.
Thanks, My Cookery Zone for the opportunity.
