Praise Okereafor wins Maggi o ta lenu season 1

A winner has emerged from the just concluded maiden edition of the cooking competition o ta lenu. A cooking competition brought to you by Maggi Nigeria set in Lagos aimed at celebrating culinary talents in the southwest and showcasing the uniqueness of Yòrùbá food culture.



My Cookery Zone Food Media earlier reported that Olayinka Lawal, Bukola Akomolafe, and Praise Okereafor qualified to compete for the Grand Prize of 1 Million Naira.

The Grand Finale which aired over the weekend saw the three contestants cook celebratory meals. The finale also had Nigerian actor, Iyabo Ojo as a guest judge. She judged alongside preexisting judges Kehinde Bankole, Adedimeji Lateef, and Tobi Fletcher (Ofada Boy).

The final round of competing and cooking celebratory meals saw Bukola Akomolafe emerging as the second runner up, Olayinka Lawal emerging as the first runner up, and Praise Okereafor as the winner of Maggi o ta lenu season 1.
The contestants were rewarded with a cash prize of ₦250,000, ₦500,000, and 1 million naira respectively.
