The Lagos Cocktail Week 2021 an event that celebrates the craftsmanship being mixology took place from the 7th to 16th of October at the Balmoral Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island (Cocktail Village).
The one-week event started at the Cocktail Village with a conference where sessions were held with Natalie Migliarini, Andrey Bolshakov, Ibrahim Buwanhot, and Michael Mintskovsky who spoke on ‘Social media: How to build your online community, Art & Innovation, Diversification & Identifying New Opportunities / How to access finance’, and ‘Networking in the industry’ respectively. It was attended by industry experts and stakeholders who met and network. In attendance were reality TV star, Iké, music artiste Darey ArtAlade, and Lara Rawa (the convener) just to mention a few.
The Lagos Cocktail Week event was hosted by media personality, Bridget Chigbufue. On the final day of the event, it featured Pastry Chef, Alex Oke, Sommelier Aderonke Bamgbade, Fashion enthusiast Denola ‘Grey’ Adepetun, Actor Elozonam, Actor Erica Nlewedim and media personality Diane Russet as judges.
The judges judged the Absolut, Fayrouz, Star Radler x Desperadoes, and Johnny Walker Challenge which saw Oluwatimileyin Anibaba, Joseph Chukwuma, Seth Awesome Jhan, and Obanya Victor emerge winners.
