Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF), have announced the extension of entry submission in the annual SCAF Cook-Off competition. A virtual competition curated to showcase innovative and creative cooks and chefs.
This year’s competition have been divided into two categories All-Stars for Professional chefs and Naija Cook for Beginners or home cooks. Participants are expected to have a copy of ‘The Healthy Warrior’s Cookbook’ to apply.
According to SCAF, “All-Stars contestants-Band A are required to cook the Coconut shrimp curry dish from The Healthy Warriors Cookbook- compulsory ingredient for this category is ingredient number 5 and 6 from the recipe on the cookbook. While,
Naija Cook contestants-Band B are required to cook the Vegetable soup dish from The Healthy Warriors Cookbook- compulsory ingredient for this category is ingredient number 1 from the recipe on the cookbook.”
The All-stars and Naija Cook category winners would be rewarded with ₦150,000 and ₦100,000 respectively.
Deadline for submission was earlier announced to be September 3rd but, an extension in the entry submission was announced over the weekend “the deadline for entry submission for #SCAFCookOff2021 has been extended till the 17th of September 2021.” SCAF disclosed via her official page.
