Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit 2021 date officially announced.

The race toward a healthier, better-nourished future for all is one of the most crucial and importance of the Sustainable Development Goal programme and on this, lies the aim of Tokyo for Growth Summit.

However, reports has it that the Government of Japan has announced the official dates of the Nutrition for Growth Summit: December 7-8, 2021.

According to Nutrition For Growth, The Summit will be preceded by a “springboard” moment, the N4G Kick-Off Event at Goalkeepers Tokyo held on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Olympics. These events will continue the N4G legacy and signal the beginning of a new race toward a healthier, better-nourished future—a race toward a world in which all people, including the most vulnerable, have access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food by 2030.

With about five months left on the race toward the Summit, and with key U.N. Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) pledging moments in between, the Government of Japan continues to work closely with the nutrition community on Summit preparations. Preparations continue in earnest as this year’s host country leads by example to build a successful N4G that celebrates new and SMART commitments to accelerate progress in the fight against all forms of malnutrition by 2030.

The Tokyo Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit which is set to hold in December 7-8, 2021 is seen as an “historic opportunity to transform the way the world tackles the global challenge of malnutrition.”
