The last 12 weeks have been a life changing experience in the life of 13 Nigerian street food vendors who took part in the second season of Street Foodz Naija a Nigerian cooking reality show brought to you by Food Bay TV.
The reality show welcomed 13 contestants who were selected from cities like: Lagos, Ibadan, Calabar, PortHarcourt, Kano and Abuja.
As beating the odds in the past 12 weeks did become tasking the contestants were put through series of elimination tasks. At first, the ‘king maker’s’ decided to meet the contestants through food before, the strength in numbers task and The Street Credibility Task 1 & 2 (where it was required the contestants to “make a food affordable for the street, mobile and creative”.) was introduced to the show.
For the finale which held today Sunday, May 30 2021. Native Chef, Chef Chenko, Korede Spaghetti, Chef D Naija and Chef LaKrim made it to the finals. After beating the odds to the finals: Chef Krim emerged winner of Street Foodz Naija Season 2 while, Chef D Naija and Korede Spaghetti made it to second and third place respectively.
