Sibahle Mtongana professionally known as Siba Mtongana is a multi award-winning celebrity chef, mom, author, and founder of The Siba Co.
She’s the host of Food Networks Siba’s Table a show that aired in over 135 countries worldwide, and 60 million homes in the USA, across Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia with this great achievement it makes her the first black South African to host a show on Food Network.
According to Siba, the world was hungry for the local and African dishes with a twist this Food and Consumer Sciences with majors in Food Sciences and Nutrition, former magazine food editor and model served up – and continues to consume every bite she creates with her unique dazzling deftness.
Siba describes herself as a passionate and dynamic food enthusiast who brought style and charisma to South Africa television food scene. She holds a degree in Food and Consumer Sciences from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town.
In December 2020, Siba launched her restaurant The Siba Restaurant, at The Table Bay Hotel Capetown.
However, Siba believes that her true calling is to be an agent of change in Africa and the world with over 10 years experience in the food media industry which has made her bagged various awards and accolades.
