MCZ Man & Woman Crush for February 2021!

Tamuno aka. Chef Tamz and Tolulope Samaiye were our Man and Woman crush for February 2021!

Tamuno also known as Chef Tamz was #MCZManCrush on 2/22/21

Think of perfectly made comfort food made with so much passion then you are talking about a dish made by chef tamz. He wears his passion for food on his sleeve as it’s what has been fueling his journey since he left his home in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to pursue a career as a chef.

It can’t be farfetched that he draws inspiration from the rivers of the Niger delta and the bridges of Lagos were he’s currently based which are all deeply rooted in rich food culture and history.

Chef Tamz has been cooking for almost all his life but has been a professional chef for a little over 6 years . He has worked alongside Celebrity chefs in Nigeria like Fregz and Eros. He originally started out working for chef Eros where he served for almost a year then made a switch to working for chef Fregz . He is currently the Head chef of Tamarind by Tamz and Deinma where they specialize in serving comfort food.

Deinma which was launched on August 30th, 2020 is a pop up restaurant and your one stop space for small, private, intimate and cozy gatherings while Tamarind by Tamz has subsections for Tamzgrill & Cocktails. He is famous for saying he wants everyone who eats his food to have an experience with the food.

Tolulope Samaiye of Melting Moments Dairy limited was our woman crush on 2/10/21 .

Tolu is an Italian trained Gelato (Italian ice cream) producer. She has a certificate in Entrepreneur development studies (EDC) from the Pan-Atlantic University and also a mini MBA from IFC worldbank and also a Bsc holder from Covenant University.

Tolu is the Managing Director of Melting Moments Dairy limited. Melting Moments is a confectionery food processing company that has been in existence for over 8 years, and the company has successfully produced Gelato (Italian ice cream), fruit cakes, ice-lolly, popcorn, desserts, and so many more.
She became a TV chef in 2017 because of her depth interest in food and became the host of the Kitchen segment of Wake Up Nigeria on Television Continental (TVC).

In the year 2016, she became the first winner of Bailey’s Bake Fest. Tolu is a fellow of 10000 women on Goldman Sach. She is so skilled and efficient which made her go into restaurant consultantancy, and development of recipes for restaurants. She is the founder of the cooking pot initiative, where homeless people are being fed every festive period.

In the year 2017, Tolu won the scholarship to the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. She was also listed as one of the top 50 BET recipients.
