#YCO21 | Ten countries and participants qualify to compete for the Plate Trophy at the Young Chef Olympiad 2021.

The 50+ countries currently participating in the ongoing Young Chef Olympiad have been shortlisted. The shortlisting was done after they competed in the subgroups they were divided into earlier in the week. YCO, describes them as “Next Best but no less than the top 10”

Reports has it that ten countries and participants have qualified to compete for The Plate Trophy. The countries and participants are:


Róbert Zdravkov Demirev of Hospitality and Culinary School from Iceland will compete for The Plate Trophy.

Yahia Khaled of R.A.C.A from Jordan will compete for The Plate Trophy.

Mahapatabendige Perera of williamangliss_sliit from Sri Lanaka will compete for The Plate Trophy.

Saif Eddine Chaabeni of Académie Atpac from Tunisia will compete for The Plate Trophy.


Jessica Miolo of IIS Almerico Da Schio from Italy will compete for The Plate Trophy.

Swabra Chimoli iddi of B.O.M.A college from Kenya will compete for The Plate Trophy.


Mariel Willems of B.H.M.S from Switzerland will compete for The Plate Trophy.


Seebarun Jason Girish Kumar of MITD from Mauritius will compete for The Plate Trophy.


Andzhela Boeva of HRC Academy from Bulgaria will compete for The Plate Trophy.


Jessica Cummins of Barbados Community College from Barbados will compete for The Plate Trophy.

Recall, that MCZ reported that ten other countries will be competing for The Golden Trophy.
