Foremost industry awards for Bakers and Baking Entrepreneurs in Nigeria, Top Baker Awards has announced winners of the 6th edition of the award program.
Top Baker, however, stated in a press release that, It’s been a tough year and we are grateful to God to still be here. Despite the
pandemic, Bakers continued to push their creativity. And so we decided to spread
great tidings to as many Bakers as we can, hence most categories have multiple
winners.
Winners emerged from six categories that includes:

Dedicated to Lifetime Achievement Awardees who have
blazed trails and touch multiple business through hard work and dedication
to creativity and enterprise.

About Baker of the Year Tareela Okene
Tareela Okene is a passionate and detailed cake decorator, sugar
artist, enthusiastic teacher who hails from Delta State, Nigeria. She is also the founder and Creative Director at Dripples Cakes, Port Harcourt. Her creativity and passion for her craft is mixed with glowing entrepreneurial skills. She showcases her business using different social media platforms and this has endeared her to cake makers and cake buyers alike. Over the course of the year her casual posts became a source of inspiration to upcoming baker so much so that many adopted her as their role model, referencing her skills
and passion.
Tareela has been in the cake business for almost 20 years and has bagged numerous certifications and awards for her craft and
innovation skills within and outside the country.
