Food Network Star and renowned Chef Marcus Samuelsson has shared the cover to his new cookbook titled ‘The Rise: Black Cooks and the Soul of American Food’.
He shared this via a post days ago ” @marcuscooks Black Food Matters. I am so proud to share the cover of my latest cookbook, The Rise: Black Cooks and the Soul of American Food. It has always been a goal of mine to showcase the Black excellence of so many of my peers in the culinary space and explore the extraordinary cuisine and flavors they bring to the world.”
However, he disclosed that he collaborated with some other chefs in the industry to bring the latest cookbook ” I was fortunate to collaborate with an incredible team for this project: writing with Osayi Endolyn @osayiendolyn, recipes with Yewande Komolafe @yewande_komolafe and Tamie Renay @tamierenay, and photography by Angie Mosier @angiemosier.”
