Chef Navhi Ifode was our Man crush on August 10th, 2020 he is the Head Chef at Chef Fregz he’s based in Lagos, Nigeria. Our Man Crush goes by many nicknames that include: Flavour Master and The General. He is a chef instructor at Giggles Culinary Place and he is the founder of The Kitchen Kernel which he officially launched in October, 2019 Kitchen Kernel @thekitchenkernel , provides services like restaurant supplies, catering and consultancy.
Navhi got a B.Sc from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo State. In August 14th, 2016 he was declared the ‘Seasoned One’ after he emerged winner of Knorr Taste Quest Season 4 for competing for 13 weeks. He became really popular right after auditioning for the reality TV show and literally wowing the judges every week with his amazing creations.
Chef Navhi is a Food enthusiast skilled in culinary consultancy — he believes in system working and humans doing the right thing.
Speaking of features he was a sous chef alongside Chef Fregz at the Dubai Food Festival making him and Chef Fregz the First ever African Chefs to be featured at the fest, In August 2019, Navhi was a guest chef at Urban Yam Festival and recently, he hosted guests at his Wine, Dine and Innovate diner.
According to Chef Navhi “I live for the feeling of fulfillment when you create food that people eat and enjoy. There’s nothing better than that. Food is my life, my passion and my hope. Without it I’d be absolutely useless.”

Ronke Lawal was our Woman crush on 12th August, 2020 she is a British Born Nigerian woman, founder of Ariatu PR and the Food Blog Who’s For Dinner. Ronke started PR business in 2004 and rebranded to Ariatu PR at the end of 2014 as part of the brands 10-year anniversary. Ariatu PR is a public relations agency that is geared towards representing clients in a variety of industries including the entertainment, fashion, lifestyle and beauty, food and luxury goods sectors.
The PR expert and Communications consultant graduated with honours from Lancaster University and the University of Richmond Virginia (USA) with a degree in International Business (Economics).
As PR consultant she is also passionate about food this love birth the idea of her Food Blog, Who’s For Dinner a platform dedicated to food, lifestyle and travel.
In 2010 Ronke was named as one of the Top 400 women of the year in the UK for her work with the Islington Chamber of Commerce. In 2011 Ronke was honoured to receive a Precious Award for Inspirational Leadership. In 2019 Ronke received an alumni award from Lancaster University for making a substantial contribution to her field of work and developed an outstanding reputation among her peers.
