Exclusive | “It removes the stereotypes that only adults can cook” says Jessica Douglas-Jombo’s mum.

On an exclusive chat with MyCookery Zone, Mrs Douglas-Jombo, mother of Jessica (Cooking With Jessie Food Blog founder) , spoke elaborately on how Jessica was inspired to write an e-cookbook unaided.

In her words,

“The book talks about Jessica’s cooking journey at an early age, a truly inspirational journey of how to inspire your children bring out their inner Genius. Also, an inspiration to parents to take their parental responsibility to the next level of mining for gold in their children.

The book will inspire children, teenagers and also adults. It removes the stereotypes that only adults can cook. So during the lockdown, myself and her dad were teaching parents about intentional parenting in our Facebook and IG pages.

So we decided to do an experiment with the kids to make this birth any of their desires and Jessica birthed her book. Truly inspiring I must say. Some adults can not seat to write but she sat to produce the book. I respect her for this even as her momma 😂 she wrote the book unaided”
