This is not a post for sympathy , I’m here to celebrate my strength and encourage others …Today makes it exactly 10 years i suffered this horrific leg injury , a compound fracture to my right leg on the 29th of June 2009 which put an end to my beloved football ambition.
I know I’m not the only one who has been broken and come back stronger but I still need to admire my courage for trying harder.
The past 10 years has been the most defining moment of my life , it was the same year I finished from University, the same year I lost my Mum , more like a year of darkness !! Wrote my final exams in crutches !! Defended my project in walking sticks !! I attempted suicide while on the sick bed 🤕
Thinking I’ll never walk again 👺. But somehow from the bottom of my heart I wasn’t going to give up on myself
I was always determined not to settle for less. I kept pushing myself to beat the hurdles and stay limitless.
I felt lost so many times
But I was always ready to find my path !
I could have been lost and forgotten
If I got carried away into the things that could have taken me away.
What if I had lost hope ?? What if I gave up on myself ??
But here I am , strong and fit
Great and good
Sharp and firm
Full of energy
Full of life
God is great
I am redeemed 🕊💚🕊💚🕊💚🕊💚🕊💚🕊 #healthyliving#keepingfit#food#chef#privatechef#foodie#cheflife#instachef#picoftheday#enterpreneur#catering#healthyfood#foodlovers#lagos#foodporn#instafood#instapic#owambe#lagoscaterer#chefstagram#foodie#yummy#foodstagram#chinesefood#truecooks#naijafood#nigerianfood#africancuisine#lagosfoodie “
