The Top chef season sixteen finalist and runner-up welcomed her bundle of joy on Thursday, May 30th as reported by Top Chef,
“Sara announced the happy news as she introduced daughter Lula Bea to the world for the very first time in a post published on Instagram on June 30. Lula was born at 10:48 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long. “We are all happy, healthy, and in love,” Sara gushed in the post.
The Kentucky native announced that she was expecting “the newest cook in the kitchen” by sharing a sonogram of her daughter on Instagram in December. In the months since announcing her pregnancy news, Sara has kept fans up-to-date on her road to motherhood on Instagram, sharing
all the food and fun she’s been having. “
