Chefs and other eminent personalities grace the #foodbank4nyc event.

In the quest to fight and stop hunger that affects 1 to 5 New Yorkers the Food Bank For New York City initiative was born. A program established in 1983 a major hunger-relief organization working to end food poverty across all the 5 boroughs in NYC.

The event which held in Cipriani Wall Street, was graced by; Neil Patrick Harris, Chef David Burtka, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Chef Katie Lee, Chef Marc Murphy, Chef Alex Guarnaschellie, Chef Jose Andres and many more these personalities came out to support the initiative of ending hunger. According to Margarette Purvis, ( Food Bank’s President & CEO) “Our mission has lasted, stretched, and flourished because New Yorkers chose to make a difference with us over and over again .”
